Class II
Morphine PCA is RESTRICTED: Patients must be at least 6 years of age. Initial orders can only be written by anesthesia, heme/onc, Bone Marrow Transplant, PICU or palliative care attendings. Residents of the previously listed services may order changes to the PCA. No other services may order morphine PCA or changes to the PCA.
Morphine 20mg/ml oral concentrate is RESTRICTED to use of the patient's home supply. This product is NOT stocked or procured by the COA pharmacy for patient safety reasons.
